Contribute to local supply issues in an expansive office environment
The Fortifications Agency is a government authority with critical operations that is experiencing strong growth. In January 2026, the new unit for Local Supply and Internal Services was established. In a growing organization, efficiencies and development of local supply are required both locally and nationally. An important part of this work is to fill this position, which has the main task of working strategically with a holistic view, long-term thinking, and foresight in the local supply area.
The unit currently consists of five employees and a unit manager. As a Local Strategist with us, your tasks will be to have a holistic perspective for the office in Eskilstuna and also for upcoming establishments at the national level. We are looking for someone who wants to work in a strategic role with process development of our office spaces, from a sustainability, security, and work environment perspective!
You will play a key role in leading the progress and developing the national strategic local supply plan for the agency in close collaboration with the departments and at the regional level. Other tasks include working within the headquarters with coordination, planning, analysis, key figures, and the preparation of decision-making materials. You will also work operationally, for example, by developing new spaces in dialogue with landlords and leading a local adaptation.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with an academic education focused on construction, property, economics, or another education deemed suitable by the employer. You have experience working in local supply and property where you have worked broadly with these issues. You are skilled at expressing yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and have the ability to make complex issues understandable for different target groups. You also have good experience using administrative IT systems, hold a Class B driver's license, and are a Swedish citizen.
It is advantageous if you have:
- Education in property economics or local strategy.
- Experience in creating and developing processes related to investments and statistics.
- Experience in project management and contract negotiation.
Your personal qualities are very important to us, and we will place great emphasis on personal suitability, where an important part is that you are security-conscious. We are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic role with several ongoing cases simultaneously. You have a pronounced ability to collaborate, build good relationships, and are motivated by a fast work pace. You are communicative and confident in arguing and presenting decision materials. You plan and structure your work well but also think outside the box and find new solutions to old problems. With an analytical and strategic mindset, you handle complex information and contribute to wise decisions.

About the employment
The position is a permanent employment and may start with a probationary period. As a permanent employee, you will be placed in a military position. The place of employment is Eskilstuna. An employment with us requires Swedish citizenship and involves placement in a security class. A security review with a background check will be conducted before employment in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
